Nazgûl - The dark servant

Posted by Ben90 on 03 Jun 2020, 14:55

Dear friends,

so, I am out of the competition and it is time to show some more pics of my entry. I knew it would be hard to compete with a nearly all black figure :sweatdrop: ...but it was still fun and a great competition!

Beautiful sculpt! I'm super impressed with the composition and pose you;ve created. Is this all done with green stuff?

Dark Servant was my personal Grand Prize Winner. With all due respect to the other nearly equally excellent finalists.

Simply astonishing work Ben90. And now to learn you sculpted the thing, but I had a feeling about that...

It was very black, but I thought the variation in the tones of black were amazing. You make one colour look like twelve. The cooling lava looks really good and I really like the Nazgul, that's just how they looked in my imagination when I was reading the books.

Great sculpt and great painting.

Well, we didn't knew it was original sculpt when we voted.
And I agree with others.... black and white are one of most difficult colors (?) to paint :/

What a genius you are to sculp this Nazgul. Like the others I am :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: It is really interesting to see the wip, which is - in this case - like a magic trick.

I've voted each time for your Nazgûl but it seems that it was not enough ... :(

It's just incredible !
You sculpted a Master-Piece and the painting work is also perfect !
Nothing bad in that Nazgûl... :yeah: :yeah:

(I was wondering how you made it, but never thought that it could an own sculpt... :eh: )
