Some more ancients from me. Really enjoyed painting this brand new Linear-a set. I haven't painted all of the poses tho. Enjoy the photos!

Great work Jacob. I am still waiting for this set to make it to the USA. I will buy it as soon as it does.

Very nicely done! I'm guessing these are Gauls happy to greet a would-be liberator? Anyhow, my historical ignorance aside they look superb.

Your paint job is praiseworthy indeed! Almost perfect color choice on every part. I am impressed. It looks like the mould marks may have given a bit of trouble, though?

I'm waiting for this set myself, but there's still shipping problems. Great painting and excellent sculpts.

Thanks guys!

The thing with Carthage during Punic Wars was that it had a lot of money (and I mean A LOT) and not a huge population. In practice it meant hiring mercenaries from all over the Mediterranean to fill the gaps.
Many of which were of Celtic, Germanic or Celtiberian origin. The cheering barbarians from the set are most likely such allies.

It was quite a nightmare. I hoped you guys wouldn't notice  . I spent literary hours removing them with mixed success. It's the first time I had so much trouble with them. On the other side, the mould quality is rated 8/10 on PSR, so it might have been just a bad luck with my copy of the set.

Beatiful painting and great figures. I am tempeted of buying some Linear-A/B sets, as I don't have any figure from them yet.

I really like the shield painted with the two wolves, (maybe taken from a roman casualty?). Top work!

I agree with all of the above. Great figures beautifully painted! I especially like the mother and child figure.
Mould marks? You are supposed to cut those off??
