I've decided to build Crawford's Light Infantry Division and thought I would start with the 43rd Light Infantry. These figures are the Italeri Waterloo British set, a really fine set in my estimation and well suited to conversion to Peninsular as half wear stovepipe shakos. Unfortunately many of the figures with shoulder wings wear Belgic shakos but with head swaps from the extras supplied from the HaT Peninsular British I was able to give them the stovepipe shako. Other than that, only the ensigns are conversions, keeping it fairly simple by having the regimental flag bearer remain a sergeant.
With the 95th Rifles previously completed next up will be the 1st and 3rd Portuguese Caçadores (traditionally brigaded with the Light Division) and finally the 52nd.
The final two pictures are with the figures (paired on magnetic bases) broken up in skirmish formation.
