Dutch artillery at Waterloo

This week I finished this little diorama.
It's from the "Waterloo 1815 AP009 Dutch / Belgian Artillery "kit. Nice sculpted little figures.
I think the gun is a six-pounder.

Painting is done with Vallejo acrylics and after that a coat of matt varnish.

It is really good. I could compete with larger scales.

Superb painting and the groundwork looks lovely.

It is a pity that the Hat cannon is incorrect as the Dutch used French style split trail carriages.

Nevertheless there is an excitement apparent here.

I discovered just this evening that the gun is incorrect. Well, if I can get a french gun, I can easely replace it.
Is there a plastic kit with the correct gun?

I used the Itallieri French cannon for my Quatre Bras refight.

My understanding was that the Belgian army used French kit as until the abdication of the Emperor they were essentially part of the French forces.

I recall the French cavalry shouting to their former Belgian comrades to rejoin them in one encounter.

Very nice little dio what you are showing us Paul.
The figures are wonderfully staged and the underground seems to me extremely realistic.
