Don't know about the Alamo set, but the 1812-Americans can be hard to find.

Dear Peter,

I agree totally with your recommendation of the Strelets set which suits well to ACW, but the Alamo set isn´t suitable for the last quarter of 18th century: hats, clothes and weapons are too different. There are more than 50 years difference!

I agree that there are 50 years between those two conflicts, but I still think that some of the figures of that set can be used for AWI. I have seen it in a big project years ago, and when you mix them up you don't see much difference. That is also the reason I mentioned this set, because I have seen that someone did mix them.
