20mm StuH42 with improvised concrete armor

Posted by Arminace on 12 Nov 2020, 09:44

Good morning to all hobbyists and wargamers.

now I've dug out an old Italerie ESCI-Repack and turned it into something very rare on 1/72 playing fields. A howitzer 42 with improvised concrete armour and windshield ambush camouflage. At least I personally have never seen anything similar in 20mm...

And yes, I know there are different versions of the disc ambush camouflage pattern and most are a little denser from the circles, but not all...

Necessity is the mother of invention and war brings it out to an even rarer degree. Thanks so much for showing us this wonderful customization.

The dots where made with water proof text markers ;)

Some kind of cheating during the modelling stages...
