Red Army in East Prussia 1944

Posted by praga on 17 Dec 2020, 13:11

This corona shit has a good one. I now know how many models I still have in the basement because I've cleaned up. It's unbelievable how much I still have stored here. One by one I want to build everything. Enough to do for the next few years.
Here is a Russian T34/85 in a scene from East Prussia in 1944. The two Cossacks are from Revell. The other figures are from various manufacturers - Atlantic, Italerie, Imex, Alexminiatures and unknown manufacturers.
Greetings, Jens Hilgraf

If my sight is still right, I think that I recognize some venerable Atlantic figures in this scene (among others), is it correct ? Very nice paintjob.

EDIT: oh sorry, you wrote it in the comment, I only looked at the pictures

Good dio
I was surprised as well to see the old Atlantic Russians here. Their bigheads - and characteristic side glance - are still reckognizable. The figure mix becomes even more spectacular :-)
All the boys and gals on the tank are looking at one guy walking just beside the tank.... and i can't see him  . A bit frustrating because it makes me curious without any chance knowing what's so special here.
Please, praga, continue to empty your basement

Greetings

Obviously the German HKL (Hauptkampflinie, main battle line) is broken, again.
No Panzerfaust no hope! Put there hands in the air, on the head.
The red steam roller is, on the way to Nemmersdorf ?

Good use of different figures and maker.
The sandy nature underline the region in the title.
Nice to see the Revell Cossack in a Dio.

Well made.

It looks like the soldier with the clip-board is looking up her skirt. Probably just a coincidence.

Very nice indeed.

It is always good when the composition lends its self to telling a story and the imaginative use of the figures does just that.

Best wishes,

Chris

Thanks Praga, for showing me the guy.
He is one of a handsome blondinet fella! No wonder little Maschenka is showing off herself with her best profile.
