A really nice presentation, and you are right, my favourite period. Revell Rifles, right? I just painted these, but converted them all to Caçadores.

Bill Slavin may have converted these same Revell Rifles into Caçadores (whatever that might be) but I converted my Honey Caramel Chocolate Truffle into stomach contents.

For today (day 20 of the calendar) we travel to the Indus valley, in the 4th century BC.
These warriors are 'Classical Indians', according to DBA army lists. They are the men who fought with King Porus against the army of Alexander on the banks of the Hydaspes river. They used the bow as primary weapon, but there were also sword and shield soldiers. They also used 2 horse or 4 horse chariots,cavalry and war elephants - I intend to paint all of them one day.
We can also transform the Classical Indian army to be used for HOTT, or any Fantasy ruleset, by adding an avatar of a semigod, which allows me to dedicate this post to Beano Boy, here:

Ah ah, that's great to read... although I forgot to invest money into the industry of miniature paints
Let's go back to business. Today is not an ordinary day, it is Saint Peter's day (yes, yes, I found a Saint Pierre Canisius on the web for today). And what could I show you on that day, if not... Mummies.
So today, on the 21st December, in a post dedicated to Peter the Moderator, the man-who-quotes-the-Beatles-but-not-on purpose, let me show you the New Return of the Mummies !!

Fantastic mummies, although they might fit in better around Halloween instead of Christmas.

These guys are part of the Goth army about to fight against the Roman forces at Adrianopolis in 378. The beginning of the end for the Romans, at least the Western Empire...

That's an idea...
I could do a calendar for everyday of the year! But in order to succeed, since I can't paint AND create scenes AND take pictures AND write new posts every day, I must look for service providers and sign contrats with them, one for every step of the process, and then I will have to spend my whole time in coordination between them, call those who are late, send badly painted figures back, and even pay a translator to understand the written posts, because of course it will be too expensive to have a local writer... and in the end, I won't paint anymore and will get frustrated, and will run out of money because I will have quit my job
