For today (day 20 of the calendar) we travel to the Indus valley, in the 4th century BC.
These warriors are 'Classical Indians', according to DBA army lists. They are the men who fought with King Porus against the army of Alexander on the banks of the Hydaspes river. They used the bow as primary weapon, but there were also sword and shield soldiers. They also used 2 horse or 4 horse chariots,cavalry and war elephants - I intend to paint all of them one day.
We can also transform the Classical Indian army to be used for HOTT, or any Fantasy ruleset, by adding an avatar of a semigod, which allows me to dedicate this post to Beano Boy, here:
