"Old" Musketeers

Posted by Konrad on 25 Dec 2020, 15:33

Lately I've seen some very nice sets from RedBox:
Musketeers of the King of France
Cardinal Richelieu's guards
The figures look very interesting and I'm sure I'll paint some of them.

That reminds me of a couple of GerMan musketeers
that i have painted a few years ago.
Musketeers of the French King
Unfortunately, the photos can no longer be seen.
I hope it's okay to post older work.

I hope you are all healthy and experienced with your families
peaceful days.
Unfortunately, this Christmas will bring very lonely days for many people.

Let's all hope that the situation will improve soon.

My best wishes and I hope you like my "old" pictures. ;-)
Konrad

These are really nice! I never managed to acquire any but I always thought that - at the time - they were nice figures if not up to the standard of other figures available, You however have brought out the best in them. Good use of props.

Hi Konrad, I remember the first post of these quite well because I was impressed then. Remember also that you mentioned several broken swords, quite some work of love with these BUM figures to get them right.
Well, it is great to see them again.
Also great to have new sets from Redbox and UR
Greetings
Michael

Very fine painting and an excellent scene, bursting with activity. I like the two musketeers dueling on the tabletop.
