1815 hold Guard grenadier Speira miniature

Posted by raph86 on 23 Dec 2020, 23:29

Good evening,
Although I have something else on the desk, I couldn't resist the urge to paint these beautiful Old Guard Grenadier figures from Speira miniature.
What more can I say than "They are magnificent".
A real pleasure to paint.
The rest in pictures...

It greens so green when Spain's blooms are blooming...
Hi Raph86
Your paints are beautiful on high quality figures, but you can dare and zoom a bit more. Don't be afraid, and we will be less greenflashed :-)
Keep up the good work

Happy Christmas

Hello,
thank you for your kind comments.
I'm going to make some new pictures because the one taken are not so good.
The problem is that there hasn't been much natural light for a few days...
I hope you have all been spoiled by Santa Claus.

In this last photo, you can almost see the powder falling into the basin....
They are incredibly precise
I took advantage of a sunburn this afternoon to take better pictures...

A few negative but really minor points, the epaulettes which are not fringed but this must be due to the scale as they are visible on the site and the few hanging points of the supports which are invisible before painting (white resin) and 2 or 3 kind of hair on the miniatures invisible before painting. But it's really a bit of a hassle

Wow Raph!

These close-ups show what a magnificent painter you are.
I'm really jealous.
I didn't know this manufacturer before. I will probably buy some of these myself.
regards, Patrick

These old guard figures represent a peak in precision sculpting and casting along with an equally fine paint job on them. They look absolutely gorgeous Raph.
