Scouting for Custer

Posted by Egbert on 28 Dec 2020, 19:20

Hello friends,
I've been building this little vignette in the last few days.
These are U.S. cavalry scouts during the Sioux Wars in 1876.
The figures are conversions that I still had from my Diormane "Crows Nest".

The picture below served as the idea and template.

Exellent conversions again. Not as big as the "crows nest", of course, but still very cool. :yeah:

I agree totally with MABO. So good the conversions are that I can't identify the original figures.

Another amazing diorama, Egbert. My very best congratulations.

Great looking piece. I like your interpretation of the painting - a nice relaxed-looking group of figures. Perhaps too relaxed? ;-)

Hi Egbert.

What a lovely work.

You are the master of conversions without a doubt.

The detail and painting standard is excellent as revealed by the beautiful photography.

Happy New Year.
