Hello!
Let me show you my latest work. Winter vignette with Soviet Headquarters made with Zvezda 6231 set. The snow was made from soda.

Top Work !
:yeah:

And so realistic.

During my work (far over ten years back) in St Petersburg around noon I walked on the wet, icy pavement.
It was winter around minus two degree. I wear that typical cap but I was the only one who put the ear protection down. I get told that this indicates me to be a foreigner. Sunshine and minus two degree in St Petersburg is spring time.

Your command do not put the ear protection down in the snow, too.

When we visited Scotland years ago, the weather in Inverness was rainy , windy and quite cold. My wife and me were the only ones wearing long trousers and rain jackets. We saw many young scots who did wear flip flops, shorts and so on....it was summer in Scotland....

Very nice work! Crisp, clean painting and very nice work on the wood.
FYI in Canada I wear my ear flaps down! There are maniacs here who wear shorts in the winter, but I prefer to stay warm as possible. :-D

Excellent work and that snow is wonderful.

There is a real ‘feel’ of the cold on the set but the skin pallor of the men suggests that it’s not that cold.

Perhaps those ushankas are toasty.

My Russian police original has the flaps up on skiing holidays.

Best compliments, really well done !
I must remember the "soda" snow idea when I'll work on a winter medioeval diorama (it's in my wish-list)

Very nice scene. The painting of the figures is terrific and the silvered timber is just amazing!
