No doubt, the best soldiers of the history...

Posted by Carlos on 02 Jan 2021, 04:42

The best soldiers in the history of mankind. They have fought thousands of battles throughout the world for generations and have never been defeated, and if they were defeated it was because they wanted to. Supercommandos, capable of piloting a pirate galleon or a spaceship, engineers arming trenches with tires or parachuting from a wall. campaigns in the harsh winter dripping nose under a bread basket helmet, in the heavy summer perspiring without T-shirts. Suffering wounds that always ended in tetanus injections (the only thing they fear). Short "Before Mom calls me to dinner" skirmishes or long Saturday afternoon drives. To all the veterans of the Yunk Yard armies, loyal, brave ... RESPECT!

I could comment each fantastic detail and the text but that would take too long.
Therefore

This is definitive the most true Diorama and story I have seen here.
Till mum call, till the hunger takes you home and open the refrigerator ...
Well discovered and superb made !
:love1: :love1: :love1:

But ask my nephews, kids of my friends, her friends and her kids.
Always, Computer games, if they interact they rarely meet each other they talk via all options of Computer, cellphones etc...

Time changes.

Emotive presentation at its very best
and a brilliant feast of fun Carlos  Thank You

i played upon the scrap heaps of post war Norwich, bomb sites too. Our gang of four armed to the teeth with home spun bows arrows and catapults were a force to be reckoned with. Well at least in our imagination as little boys out for giggling mischievous fun. O what Larks! we had.
Such are anyone's childhood memories fit enough to fill any large book.
:sst: or for bb,a very small one.

I'm glad you guys liked it.
Well, I think we have been many veterans!
The stories repeat themselves all around the world.
Missing the lady's dogs on the other side of the wall where we dropped the ball. The struggles with teenagers (older brothers sometimes) who wanted to take over our junkyard to make "their place" where to smoke cigarettes stolen from parents and do really nasty things like kissing girls. And the homeless man who sometimes ran us with a stick.
But it was too much to put in a diorama.

Yes, time changes, agreee Wiking, but I think it also happens that there are fewer and fewer places for children to develop, I think that parents take care of them too much and I also think that we are very demanding with their time, we send them to study languages, music, sports, arts ... Todays schools also require a lot of time than they did before.
Perhaps we are the adults who are destroying childhood with our demands to have children resposnables, intelligent and other things.

For me, it's a perfect vignette, Carlos. A very well balanced composition, with fantastically painted figures, amazing setting and great attention to detail.

My very best congratulations.

Carlos, you always surprise me ... you will not have the best technique or the best painting but of course you are very good at telling stories in miniature.
consider it a great compliment.
