Austrian Pikeman

Well, nothing special. A single figure from Zvezda set 8061 17th Century Austrian Musketeers and Pikemen. I needed to write an article for my club's webpage about painting 1/72 minis so I choose this figure. But I had fun with this one and I'm happy with the result. Article isn't published yet and it will be in Croatian. Therefore I've posted no links.

Anyway, I hope you like it despite it is just 1 figure

I didn't had any chipping problems. I washed the figure with warm water and soap. Then I primed it.
It is my usual procedure.

Maybe Zvezda changed their plastic to harder one, but mine chipped almost completely (despite being washed). Now I'm using a primer consisting of 1:1:1 of water, PVA glue and paint.

Hi Kekso,
"nothing special", just a f...ing well painted Austrain Pikeman, huh?
OK, when you will have finished the "pikewall" - then we'll be talking :-)
... and once you are at it you should do the attacking cavalry as well - Turkish would be good. Lots of colour and beards

Greetings
Michael
