A long work

Posted by bothree69 on 13 Jan 2021, 10:08

Hi everyone....
I show you one of my longest works
Image
always from the sci fi series, I started basically from the character's body by sculpting the armor and then modifying the model in the marked points
Image

and many, many tests after tests
then modifying the helmet and adding all the details to resemble the original GW model

during the first tests I printed more pieces to be able to pose the miniatures and add the details

during this operation I began to build weapons with various pieces and plasticard

above some examples ... in reality I think I have modified and built about twenty weapons

I was not satisfied ... so I started to get serious and after realizing that I could improve I built the missing parts and modified parts of the uniforms ...
also adding the missing characters

from the same series, not base for the moment, I modified and adapted these models (the bike is from the hat German motorcyclists)
Image

and I started to self build the model in the photo with plasticard and mixed pieces, printed and modified according to need (in the photo it was a test both for attack and for positioning a radar)

Very impressive work. I love those Cadian Shock troops. Seeing them in 1/72 is most impressive! The vehicles are also very cool!
