The quiz:

Who feel able to give the correct power sources (shown in the very first pic) to the right thing ?

Note:
It would be nice if the WWII experts step back in the first instance. To be so kind to give our friends who build, paint mostly the Nappy, Dark age, Ancient time, ... a try. Not that they are unable to know but with things you do not daily "work", you may have to think twice.
Thank you.

Lets Gooo ...

For all airborners
Jump out ...

In my script is written that you have to write: "Peter is the winner of the quiz!" And he wins a bottle of canola oil!

There must be something wrong in the translation.
The translator was very cheap. He was free after his last job (English into German) by Astrazeneca.

But you are still the leader.
By the amount of one starter.

"The power of Wehrmacht" - the title is ambigious, but the pictures are not.
Great composition, Wiking.
Don't fortget the eggs which give "power to the people"
And yes, the Wehrmacht had little petrol right from the start. The use of horses was probably close to the number of WWI - don't have actual numbers, but I remember the old participants who always talked about the horses. In SU - the great Russian steppes - nearly all provisioning was performed by horse-drawn vehicles, or back-packed horses, all artillery, nearly all horse-drawn. Donkeys, I am less sure.
... and what type of wound will make you piss by 3 holes?
Great stuff
Greetings
Michael

Canola Oil--my popcorn
Petrol--the last truck
Haver--I do not know what this is.

How many did I get correct?

Great scene, Wiking. So many jokes and funny scenes in the scene again. A real joy to watch and study.
The boy and the soldier playing a game is very sweet. The monk (is he real or a statue?, that's the question) holding the chaotic road sign is great.
And very educational too about the different power sources.
Unfortunately I am not allowed to participate in the quiz, as I imagine I'm a WW2 specialist. :(

Thank you huib for your kind words.

The monk should be a statue.
He is the shepherd of the bridge against lightning stroke.

Yes you are one of the WWII experts in this forum.
And yes you can (I hope you will do) participate if there will be a stillstand or no solution.

Ok, after 24hrs of silence I take my guess:

Let's start with the easy ones;
The donkey runs on haver.
The Opel Blitz has a wood gas generator behind the cab, so it runs on wood gas.

Then it get's more difficult:
Opel Maultiers mostly had the standard Petrol engine of the Opel Blitz, but this is a Ford. But I guess that also runs on a petrol engine.
That leaves Diesel and Canola oil. As a Sdkfz 234 for sure doesn't run on Canola oil, I guess it has the Diesel engine.
But for the Lanz tractor I am really doubting. I would guess it was a Diesel engine, but probably it runs on vegetal oil too.

Okay, I still don't know what haver is and refuse to Google it, don't understand the popcorn reference (I hate watching YouTube videos) and have no idea why there are three streams of piss coming from the guy on the bridge (and don't really want to know!!) But I do like the diorama regardless. Such a strange mind you have, Mr. Wiking... :eh:

Haver seems to be hay or something donkeys eat.
Canola oil on popcorn was just a joke because I still don't know which vehicle runs off of it.
As to the oddly urinating soldier?
When I was a boy, we had a childhood friend who peed like that due to an unfortunate birth defect/variation. Except he had more than three, poor kid. It was eventually corrected by surgical procedure, I believe. A procedure perhaps unavailable or at least not priotitized during the era.

This is a brilliant diorama so full of life and the details that made reality happen. Very creative work, lots of imagination employed to create this wonderful piece. I'm curious about the triple stream guy but won't ask. Likely an unfortunate shrapnel wound but I digress. You made another winner Wiking!
