Please don't post thumbnails but real size images. Postimage has "Direct Forum Link" option. It is very simple to use. Just copy/paste it here.

These are just incredible. Gorgeous work! I particularly love the dragoon officer's horse. I would so love to see these in person to see all the detail you have put in these figures. Very fine work Andrey.

Wow they're beautiful figures, they could easily pass for a larger scale. I'd love to know more about your painting process. The way you paint the horses and skin tones are particularly great.

Do you use gloss varnish for the metals and helmets?

Those are really well done. Very bold colors, and spot on. As stated, the horses are out of this world. Do you use oils?

Hi! Sorry for the long answer. No, I do not use glossy varnish, for metal, acrylic paints, Polycolor-Italy, metallics "Ladoga", "Master class" - all these are krastki St. Petersburg. Krasik AK and Valejo -Spain. The process of painting figurines in a nutshell can not be said, first of all, lamination, from dark color to light tones, this is the basis of my painting. I don't use Shades and glazes, spills and flushes.

No oils I do not use on a small scale only for 54mm.
