Hello all, This my first post with images. I hope it works. Wanted to share my Winter project. A 30.5 cm Austrian mortar in firing position behind a barn. The inspiration was a colorized World War One postcard. It is in the public domain so I can include it here. As things progressed, it became evident that I have to say my project is loosely based on this post card.
Great diorama... The house is like real I see many houses from that period and this house looks exact like that...Also the artillery gun is great done...
Welcome to the Forum... This is model making at its finest that you are presenting to us here. The building is a work of art and perfectly implemented and looks absolutely realistic. I look forward to see more of your works!

It's just the same I thought when compared the original postcard and your diorama's picture, Gardefar. And also great is the making-off sequence. A wonderful work!
The roof is plastic 12-inch wide wood shake shingle sheet primed dark brown, painted with greys, washed with dark brown and dry-brushed again lightly with grays.
