Haha, I know the relief when you finally finish a project. You're glad to have finished but at the same time, so tired of working on the same thing. That's how I get when painting, oh painting skin again! For the eighth day in a row!

I remember seeing this at its inception, the final work is fantastic, looks hard to store on a shelf though lol.

what a mind-blowing dio. Wonderful, the pyramid, the steep stairs, the "offering" and the colourful painting of the minis.
When I see such a big piece I wonder how to make it more homogeneous. I mean it would have been wonderful to have the crowd at the bottom, the "feet of the pyramid", worship or at least stare at the scene on the top. In general, such scenes are very difficult to achieve because of lack of appropriate figures - for any epoch, to say the least about the Aztecs.
Again, wonderful modelling.

Yes it reminds me on Apocalypto too...Brutal and fascinating movie with realistic scenes what real life was and some time is for some people...Reallity is cruel...Great work...
