Rome's senatorial Legion, ala "Rome Total War"

After a few good years without painting ancients, I came back with a small easy project. Had a handful of properly 1/72 Hastati and Velites, and for the fun of it I painted them like the Rome Total War game, the legions that served the "Senate" faction . Highly unhistorical I know, but fun .

Soon, I'll take pictures of the roman citizens I just finished, these properly finished with washes and varnish .

Very cool, I've always thought that people should just do what they want with their minis, it's their minis. The images are a tad small though.

Many thanks for your kind comments . Yes, they look a bit small, will ensure they look better on my next post!

P.S: I liked so much Total War, that I even did my own mod, based on Invasio Barbarorum, Ruins of Glory .
