It´s a nice and very pittoresque diorama which tells us a little story behind the frontlines. I like it, especially its spatial configuration and adorable figures.
Only the house doesn´t look like Palestine where rain sometimes happens - not very often, but during the winter indeed. It looks with its roof, openings and wooden beams more for me like a New Mexico or Pueblo indian houses than a Palestine house. Yes, the beduins or shepherds have quite simple huts, but than not with such wide openings and a kind of stable besides the house. Many in the west have often mostly the contemporary evening news from Afghanistan, Libya or western iraq in mind and are thinking this has to be the whole middle east.
... and a fireplace in front of the house is missing. Sorry, there are so many fotos from old Palestine between 1900-30 ....
