That’s a great game board and I really like your figures. But the game itself posted on your blog is fascinating. I don’t think I have seen anything like it - I’m super curious about the game’s mechanics.

Very nice indeed.

Super figures, good scenery and a great tale.

What is not to like?

Well done.

Best wishes,

Chris

Hi Denyer
great figures - well painted, beautiful forest setting, exciting game and good story.
Love all of it. Thanx for sharing
But me too, I missed the invincible Gauls from a small village on the seaside...

Many thanks.

On the post on the Blog previous to the above link I gave a rough idea of my plans for that game and showed the Random Events Table I applied.

The basic principles are ones I use in a lot of my games - almost all of which are solo; random events, command and control problems for me as the active player and concealed or unpredictable enemy.

Have a poke about on the Blog and you should get an idea of my methods - and please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Many thanks.

The only "complex" aspects are the solo-ising of the random events and command control elements. Th preceding post to the above link gives some idea of the methods used, as do others on the Blog.

The moving/fighting aspects are basic (Home-bashed, but similar to Sharpe Practice/Dux Brit).

I post from time to time on the "Solo Wargaming with Miniatures Group on Facebook but if you trawl through the Blog you should get an idea of the various methods I use - many of which are themselves "multi scale" applicable. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions on the comments links on the Blog.
