Medieval city levy Strelet N°248

Posted by raph86 on 17 Aug 2021, 17:47

Hello, here are some figurines from the box below.
I painted them just for fun and will give them to my son to play.

Nice figures in the style of Strelet but with very expressive faces.
Not too difficult to paint and the details are well marked I think.
I didn't do all the poses in the box.

That’s a nice thought.

There are some ugly fellows in that group but they do look of the period.

Best wishes,

Chris

great painting - good style which fits these figures perfectly - this re-release is already a classic. Maybe you can do a horde with them?
One small point - I would have them less glossy - varnish with a strong matte. In particular, with such dirty townsfolk this is very efficient.
Bonne continuation

Nice! Bought them first time they were out (as two sets). Have painted some of them and they do very nice. And good to have more civilian looking Medievals than the old Robin-Hood set. Not too fond of the Zvezda set.

It is now a classic.
But painted very neatly.
Very nice.

These figs could fill the ranks of big armies. So it is good to see them re-released.

Nicely painted :) . I bought both too before this re-release, quite nice & different figures. Be careful to varnish them very well before giving them to your son to play, or soon all the paint will rub!

Great painted figures!

This is the box where they brought the figures of two sets together.

Lovely painting, I can see the liberal use of washes!
