Another lovely group in your trademark high contrast and vibrant colour painting style. :yeah:
I'm curious about the shields - they look hand painted yet I see pairs that seem almost identical, so I'm assuming decals? Yet their your colours, so are they home made? :eh:

Fine painting of these splendid Zvezda models. As I think has been mentioned, it would be good to have a slightly lighter tone on the photos though, as some of the fine detail seems to be a bit lost here. But a great job, well done!

PS: As an ex-archer myself, I wonder whether it would in fact be possible to shoot a powerful composite bow from a kneeling position and with a shield attached to your arm. This may indeed be a pose borrowed from an ancient (ie: primary source) Greek vase, I don't know...or it may simply have been the Zvezda sculptor using artistic licence?

I do not have this set, but I did paint one for a duel. The example shield I had had a symbol sculpted onto the shield. It was the same on the kopis weilding hoplite elsi has done.
