Some older Works from me

Posted by JueHue on 15 Dec 2021, 21:12

Hello

Hi I've got something new from my forge. A vignette with figures. The subject of street fighting in France, 1940. This time I concentrated on leftovers and tried to work them up. The base is a cupboard / armchair foot from the bulky waste. The street and walls are made of impact sound insulation for laminate. It is not as easy to work with as Styrodur because the area around the impression with the brush stamp sinks in with it. The rest is made of balsa wood, railway accessories and copied billboards, a few fibers of grass. Figures: The soldier with the handbones is from Pegasus from the 1939 set if I'm not mistaken, and the other was a machine gunner Italeri from the 251th. Both have got new heads. The Italeri figure has once again had to serve for surgical experiments. The photos are sometimes taken with and sometimes without additional light. Have fun looking at the pictures.

Very nice indeed .

The Blitzkrieg composition is delightful and I love the details.

That door lock is excellent, and the posters breath authenticity into the subject matter.

Nice desert scenario too.

Best wishes,

Chris

Two very nice scenes. Is the Italian using his cellphone to call for a proper mechanic?

It seems he's shaving with an electric shaver, isn't he? A good way to take advantage of the time while waiting for the tank repair, keeping in mind that the beard produces a lot of heat in a tropical climate.

Hello

The turn of the year would be done. Here come the next two slides from my collection.
First a Dio 1939 somewhere in Poland.
The truck is a DB 3GD from Mac,the car is partly scratch and is an Aldler N
The figures are from different manufacturers and partly converted. The dispatch rider e.g.
Is Preiser from the Zündapp 750 set.I was lucky to get the last kits.
Dispatch rider standing and dispatch rider pushing. The Zündapps are exelent.
The trees are from the railroad.
Here are the pictures.

As next Dio I would like to show you the Dio Ausgerutscht.
I scratch built the If 5 Truppenluftschutzwagen before the kit was available. The horses I modified with reins and so on. The soldier who gets off the horse is also modified. The others as well. There is also an original photo.

Image

I added the fallen tree to make sense of what was happening.

It is great how these non combat scenes let your mind wander and make up the story behind it yourself.
Very well done!
