Very nicely painted minis, Elsi! I like very much the colour scheme, with that combination of grys, dark red and gray-ish blue.

Great painting and basing. The link between actual Anglo-Saxons and the imaginary world conjured up by JRR Tolkien is well established (Professor Tolkien himself being an expert in Anglo-Saxon and Old English), and there is something about the way that you have painted these fine figures which suggests LoTR men-folk in war-gear.

I imagine them fighting Mabo's Normans as well as Melkor's armies in Middle Earth, too

I think elsi has to paint the other sprues as well to have enough men to create a solid shieldwall to beat the Normans.
