Yesterday I was able to work another 90 Zulu into the diorama. I was able to complete the battle at the barricades, as well as Zulus advancing from all directions!

In addition, I also incorporated a lot of spears and shields. However, there is still a lot missing in terms of figures and accessories.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to work on the diorama in the next few weeks, so here are the last pictures for the time being. But it will continue here soon.

Finally, a test with the Oskarberg as a background.

Fantastic! You get a real feel for the flow of the battle now, as things heat up at the one corner of the enclosure. And the scattered casualties, shields and spears really adds to the drama, even if it is horrendously one-sided. And needless to say, with the backdrop in place it all looks remarkable.
One question, doubtlessly asked before, but is the British soldier on top of the sand bag pyramid doing his laundry?? It looks like he is holding a pair of trousers.
