I just checked if I still have my Revell figures because Steve keeps on posting regiments with this kind of figures! Checked! They are stil there where I left them.

Nice choice of yellow, I went for too bright a shade.

Yes, definitely a good choice of yellow, just about 'right' I would say. Nicely painted and once again the number of figures in this unit looks impressive.

However....too many musketeers in morion helmets for my liking. Why not mix these in with figures from the Revell Swedish infantry set in hats, for a more authentic 'look'? I think the very large but very flat flags need a bit of 'furling' too. And I never could quite get to like those Revell Imperial Infantry drummers doing their 'fast walking' act....

All in all though, a nicely-presented unit of TYW Swedes.

PS: I like the casualties, they look suitably authentic.

Nicely painted and massive grouping; what's not to love? If you furl the flags you will lose that excellent face so I'd leave it flat myself.

Your colours really do seem to catch the period very well .

Best wishes,

:yeah: :-D Sooooo nice. Your painting is terrific and the yellow was really well-handled, I thought. I’m always amazed at the size of the units you paint, and your constant high standards.

Super again! The number of troops you have now painted for this period is ridiculous. Can you fi them all out on the table at once?!
