WW2-Germany “Ear” tiger

Posted by kursktiger.cn on 30 Dec 2022, 06:43

1/72 Renovation of old works, one of the last three scenes in 22 years. The original was directly sprayed with German gray without making a highlight effect, so I didn't bother to re spray it. I directly painted the snow. Then the tank soldiers used 3D printing soldiers bought from salted fish. The infantry were from the bankrupt Caesar of Taiwan. The T34 tank turret was a part of the previous work.

Very well realised diorama indeed showing this HQ vehicle.

There is a crispness and clarity of detail that suggests a larger scale, thus elevating the work even further.

I have never heard of the early, smoke throwing Tigers being called ‘ear’ tigers.

You learn something every day.

Best wishes,

Chris

Fine work, and you can almost feel the cold! Like Chris, I have not heard of 'Ear' Tigers, but nonetheless this is a very nice model and mini-diorama.

I am in awe of your work. Your handling of armour is masterful and this makes for a very beautifully rendered diorama. I especially like your painterly handling of the figures which I find very effective. Thank you for sharing.
