The Norman Vanguard arrives, a strong cavalry contingent as you would expect. (259 mounted knights, retainers etc.)

Beautiful, well painted figures deployed in the ‘grand manner’.

What is there not to like?

Happy New Year.

A most impressive sight! These Norman cavalry look very good en masse, and the colour palette that you have used to paint them looks perfect to me. Fine work indeed.

I like the banners very much. Are they your own, or are they commercially available?

Thank you, lots of different manufacturers, Strelets, Tumbling Dice, Revell, are the main ones.

So cool! I especially like your shields, great palette, a real battle worn look to them. And the priest out front carrying the cross is a nice figure.

That's a mighty fine looking bunch of foreign invaders (so too are their opponents). Very nice paintwork on the figures and the shields and banners look fabulous.
