hello fellow members,

These figs were already primed waiting to be painted for more than a year. So i finally had a go to them. I must say that the figures look a bit stiff but the detail is realy nice on them. So a realy descent set from hat.
But enough said here is where its al about... pictures pictures and more pictures

Those look very good - nice, crisp painting. I agree, the poses are a bit stiff and HaT is always a bit parsimonious with the number of horse poses you get but you have done a really nice job with them.

I have a question concerning the lances: Are these the original ones from the box, or did you replace them with some plastic pins? They look so straight that I suppose the latter may be the case. Providing good pole arms that are not bent or curved in some absurd manner seems to be a major challenge in the production of soft plastic figures….

It must have been a petrifying experience for any enemy to face up to these chaps. A very nicely painted unit dykio……. . I always struggle to paint figures that lack variety and these figures certainly are very uniform. In particular I love the way you have represented the armour….. may I ask what paints you use?

Wel these figs are from some time ago when hat still produced there figs in a hard kind of plastic instead of the rubber they use nowadays. So the lances on these are originals from the box !
