Next up, the French regt of Boulonnais. This regiment was initially in reserve behind the village of Blindheim, but was unnecessarily sent into the fray by panicking French commanders and ultimately wasted as a fighting unit during a crucial time.

Donald, I’m not 100% sure how I did these ones. Every French unit I’ve probably ended up doing it with different colours. No source seems completely certain on the colours of the time and the French regiments vary between whites and greys-so I just guess…most likely these are Vallejo sky grey, Army Painter Strong wash, Vallejo silver grey and then Matt varnish. Hope that helps?

Next up is the French dragoon regt of Listenois (Beaufremont). These squadrons fought on the left wing of the French and Bavarian army, so the opposite wing to my previously painted dismounted dragoons.

Another of your fantastic cavalry units from the WSS, Rich.

There are always two things I never cease to admire about you. Firstly, the incredible efficiency with which you move forward with your project, allowing you to give us unit after unit, and always of top quality.

Secondly, the excellent result you get from the Strelets figures. Although the ones in this range are very good (unlike others) there is always some flash that you manage to eliminate and that in the end is not noticeable.

Next up is the Prussian infantry regiment Kronprinzen. They were part of Eugene's forces on the Allied right flank. I've used the new Strelets Austrian infantry set for these chaps and they are lovely figures! The only issue is that they do not come with a flag...any suggestions on how/where I can get suitable flags is welcomed!
