Thank you all

Is that shell to scale?

I have confirmed that the real size is 128mm diameter x 1500 mm tall (almost 21mm in 1/72)

the photo is for a restorate one..

And a very good restoration, in my humble opinion, a lot of work has been put in researching and executing it.

Late war 128mm containers were made of steel and painted with RAL 7012 similar paint to prevent oxidation. Projectiles were painted in a yellow similar to RAL 1007.

Here's a deactivated 128mm shell on the far left:

The gun was lacking some dry-pastel dusting, the figure was already done. I learned a lot throughout the making of this model, in terms of final quality I still think "my next one will be the best", and so on.. ;-)

Well Done :-D

Oh and I hope the figure is not going to operate the artillery piece all by himself :-D

I am still liking it, although I think I would like it even more without the N**i insignia behind it.

In my opinion, it's as necessary as everything else on that base, as each item is representative of the history of our world between the 30s and the 40s. I personally don't feel offended by symbols, only by Men's horrific actions, that's why I'll never revert to that sort of self-censorship...as long as no one threatens me with a lawsuit because I can't afford a lawyer ;-)

Thank you very much to everyone who took the time to look, particularly those who left a comment

Too true, it´s not the symbols that do the nasty things and self censorship is only correct when it´s deemed by the individual to be morally correct /incorrect. Try though putting this symbol up anywhere in Germany, in historical context or not.

Censorship is a slippery slope downwards. In the context here I understand the point you're making but, I disagree with it because to me the type of censorship here requires one to do the thinking for someone else and that to me is not a good thing at all. This is only my opinion and I put this forth with the highest regard and respect for others here.
