Mongols...

Posted by Pieter on 23 May 2016, 10:51

I took the Italeri Mongol Cavalry and turned them into a weekend-project...
With all their fine deetail and a variety of garments and harnesses they provided a nice little challenge..!
l've really enjoyed painting these figures and hope you enjoy them as much as I did...

I saw the original casting frame little time has passed. I thought he looks boring a bit. Today I think differently. It´s incredible how beautifully the figures gets by your paint!

I have to agree with Stenfalk, I looked at this set on PSR and they don't look anywhere near as impressive as your painted ones. You've really brought them to life. Love the hawking figure.

Weekend-projekt, two days five figures five horses. You was busy.
Nice painted figures and horses.
The painted hawking figure with his horse is my favourite. ;-)
I copy the idea with the whak with a Zwezda figure riding on a horse and a Noch whak. :P

A richman's ceiling is a poorman's floor...
As these guys were but a painting exercise really they will stay as they are.
I've got an idea for a small dio with the hawker on an overdue matchboxbase though...
