Gaugamela 331 BC - The chariot

Hello!

Just finished my latest diorama. It is based on the battle of Gaugamela, where Alexander the Great crushed the Persians. You can see a Persian scythed chariot in attack and some Macedon cavalry, who tries to stop it.

This little vignette looks excellent! The painting is realy good, and the yellow-and-purple color scheme of the chariot looks really impressive. And the choice of the background for photography, which fits the vignette perfectly, adds also to the dense atmosphere. Thanks for posting!
