The York and Grubenhagen Double battalion Square

Dear Forum members,

I present my latest effort, an 800 man double battalion square. The York and Grubenhagen square was in Kielmansegge's brigade at Waterloo and suffered considerably, but unlike the Luneburg Battalion the square survived, albeit in a diminished form.

Many of the figures are conversions from the Hat 1806 Fusilier set with plumes and Trotter packs added.

800??? I'm not sure I've painted so many in my life.
This is amazing work and one can see days and days of hard painting work.
But you should take care of mould lines (best example, two guys carrying their wounded fellow).

There will be cut ABS arms, legs laying around.
Smell of the melt plastic from the guns.
Fragments of paint in the air.
Loose connecting pins everywhere.
Hardened glue on the limbs.
Grass flakes in between.
Broken bases.
