AWI Bourbonnais Regiment & Royal-Artillerie

Posted by despertaferro on 18 Jan 2019, 13:36

Hi...

Once again, a messy mix of sets, in order to increase variety and fun... :-D

Italeri and Revell figures, Hat gun... Flag made of paper and painted over...
Revell uniforms are not accurate for the period and the army but Italeri's neither are... Fortunately, at this scale, some painting strokes can disguise almost anything... :-D

And that's all folks...

Really nice work and as super painting standard.

The Photo Bucket emblem looks awful, as indeed as a company they are.

I use Post Image who have been wonderful and do not obscure your hard work with their advertising.

Happy modelling.

These look fantastic. You've made some horrible figures (Italeri French AWI set) look absolutely great. Love the shading, especially on the white gaiters.

Any other AWI plans?

Beautiful painting. I would never dare go in that close on the faces of my figures!

Hi, many thanks for your nice and always positive comments...

I must apologize to you for not being so active in this forum lately. My daily life has been going trough big changes over the last 18 months and I have very little time for the hobby now. And when I have some, it is for painting.

C M Dobson, I've been looking at Post Image. I'll try my next posting with them. Many thanks!

Rich W, right now, the British Light Infantry and Artillery are on my painting table. Waiting for their turn are British Dragoons, American Militia and Lauzun's Legion Infantry and Hussars...
But it will take some time to finish all them

I'm doing far too many periods... :stressed: :-D

Take care...!

I love your style and way of basing! Love the AWI one of the few era I don't have in 1/72 (6mm instead). Looking forward to the next ones!

I love uniforms of that period. Especially when painted by expert like Joan.
