What a labor lof love! Your ship turned out very well.

Tell me, did you drink the tea/coffee solution after using it to dye the ratlines?

Beautiful work, Paul! A wonderful combination of modelbuilding, figure painting and seascaping, all beautifully done. I can also see you did some serious investigation into historical roping of ships. And I imagine it's a monks work to repliocate that. (Worse than rigging biplanes probably). Great work, well done, beautiful result.

Just remember! Have this one stuck away somewhere! And that is really somewhere this time! Painted the figures, but they are probably at another somewhere.

This really brings back childhood memories of these Airfix ships of long ago.

Excellent modelling and the rigging must have been a nightmare.

Lovely to see the flags flying in the right direction.

Best wishes,

Chris

Astonishingly good in every detail. The more I read about what it took to get it looking that good, the more impressed I was. :yeah:

So nice, Paul! And the detailing of the build on your blog was fascinating. So much careful work.
I loved the crew figures - they really bring it to life.

I had no luck, my earlier post got rejected - probably a connection problem
Anyway : This is a wondrful diorama. Other the result I can see the work and sweat and always appreciate the ingenuity to solve the problems!!
It is the first time that I see the Redbox marines at work, and they look really good at it!
It is a pleasure to observe and admire

Another wonderful ship and the extra crew from Redbox fit in perfectly. Very nice indeed!

This one has a more predatory look than the Cogs.Image
