Excellent painting and composition. If I may say anything about the figures, you have mixed two types of armor separated by 250 years of war evolution. But this does not detract from the originality of your work. Joan
The rider and the first foot soldier on his right are XII century men (they come from the Italeri Crusaders set). The others represent warriors in late XIV / early XV century (Revell HYW sets). Edit: and the horse must come from Revell Normans set.
Didn't armor last a long time, cost a mint, and get passed down from father to son for generations? So maybe you could see examples from different eras on the same battlefield...
