Long time no post, so here's something I've finished today. It's a modified Preiser figure from their 72503 box holding a 128mm Flak 40 shell:

Oh, yes!

Where did you get such an ornament as show on the background.

It was a gift from a friend. It's a reproduction made by a spanish brand that I can't remember right now...

The poll was a joke, I'm sorry it wasn't clear for you.
I presume you are refering to the swastika. The badge was awarded in recognition for anti aircraft or ground combats, for single meritorious actions or distinctive leadership:

Probably due to the material they were made from, I'm not sure. Taking in account the instructions inside Attack's box, late war flak 40 ammo should be painted gunmetal/grey. Also, I've found a restored example in yellow/grey:

I just thought it looked odd but then I remembered seeing an 88mm shell
and was surprised to see how tall it actually was (pretty cool to be able to actually handle one). So the 128mm must have rather tall then. Nice job, well researched.

steel brass..
the photo is for a restorate one..
a dark grey maybe can better..
but iMHO..
this a 7,92x57 round ammo steel brass made by germans in 1944 fom my ammo reserve ..

ussually the steel brass received a coat of protective to prevent rusting..
this give a dark green/grey apparance
your is alread a great work..
